Desde o dia 15 de novembro quem trafega constantemente pela Rua Leais Paulistanos, percebeu que ela agora está com sentido único de circulação no trecho entre a Avenida do Estado para a Rua do Manifesto.
“A mudança ficou aparentemente boa, porque como a Leais era mão dupla, atrapalhava muitos os ônibus aqui. Agora que ela virou mão única, melhorou para o setor de transporte”, contou Paulo Rosa dos Santos, comerciante na Leais Paulistanos há três anos.
Ainda de acordo com ele, houve um aumento no número de vagas, que ficam do lado esquerdo da via, as quais tornaram-se rotativas e podem ser utilizadas pelos frequentadores do Clube Atlético Ypiranga.
“As vagas viraram rotativas, colocaram placas para idosos, deficientes e isso gerou mais vagas disponíveis”, explicou. A mudança foi realizada pela Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego, a qual informou que “a alteração visa melhorar as condições de mobilidade da via”.
A partir de agora, os motoristas que atualmente acessam a Rua Leais Paulistanos com destino à Avenida do Estado deverão seguir em frente, convergir à direita na Rua Ariranha, acessando, assim, a Avenida do Estado.
Já os motoristas que acessavam a Rua Silva Bueno pela Rua Leais Paulistanos provenientes da Av. do Estado deverão virar à direita na Rua Manifesto, convergir à esquerda na Rua Tabor, depois à esquerda na Rua Bento Vieira, e à esquerda na Rua Leais Paulistanos, acessando, assim, a Rua Silva Bueno.
