Quem estiver caminhando pelo bairro e se deparar com bicicletas amarelas, não se espante. Operando há poucas semanas em São Paulo, a Yellow, sistema de compartilhamento de bicicletas que não depende de estações ou locais específicos para retirada e devolução das bikes, já virou febre pelo bairro.
A capital paulista é a primeira cidade a receber o serviço criado por Eduardo Musa e por Ariel Lambrecht e Renato Freitas, ambos co-fundadores da 99, que foi vendida para a chinesa Didi Chuxing em janeiro. O serviço permite que os usuários destravem cadeados das bicicletas por QRcode. Ao final do uso, o cliente pode deixar a bicicleta em qualquer local da cidade para que outro usuário do serviço utilize.
Na manhã de terça-feira (21), Douglas Medeiros, utilizou o serviço pela primeira vez com uma Yellow que estava estacionada na rua Independência. “Achei a opção incrível e com certeza usuarei outras vezes. Além de econômica, saudável é muito prática”, definiu.
Para locar uma bike é preciso instalar o aplicativo (disponível para Android e IOS) e criar uma conta. A partir daí, é possível achar uma bicicleta pelas ruas do bairro ou procurar no mapa virtual, que através do GPS, mostra a localização da mais próxima. O sistema de QRcode do celular destrava o cadeado. Inicialmente, pouco mais de 500 estão circulando na capital paulista que podem ser utilizadas por 1 real a cada 15 minutos.
Com um capital inicial de 50 milhões de reais, a empresa vem desenvolvendo desde junho de 2017 o serviço que considera uma opção complementar para otimizar o deslocamento diário das pessoas e diversificar a matriz de transporte urbano.
As bicicletas Yellow são fabricadas no Brasil e contam com acompanhamento por satélite, sensores, pneus sólidos, que não murcham, e painéis solares para recarregar os cadeados, além de outras inovações. Para garantir a manutenção das bikes, a empresa tem uma equipe de operações formada por pessoas de comunidades carentes que circula pela cidade para fazer pequenos reparos nas bicicletas e reorganizam a distribuição das “amarelinhas”.
Quando há tentativa de mover a bicicleta após ter sido travada, um alarme apita. Nos pontos com maior concentração de usuários, 70 funcionários pedalam para detectar irregularidades.
