Depois de um serviço, apontado por motoristas e moradores como “mal feito” em função dos vários remendos e buracos na via, a Prefeitura resolveu realizar o recapeamento da avenida Dom Pedro I. Principal via de acesso ao Ipiranga, a obra, segundo a faixa colocada no local, será concluída em março de 2023.
Além disso, os diversos buracos que vinham atormentando a vida dos moradores e motoristas que trafegam pela região finalmente foram tampados, trazendo alívio e satisfação para todos.
Maria do Socorro, comerciante de 55 anos, já havia conversado com a equipe de reportagem do Jornal Ipiranga News sobre os buracos da via, disse á época, esta muito preocupada com a possibilidade de as crateras ocasionarem acidentes, tanto para motoristas quanto para ciclistas e pedestres.
Agora, Socorro vibra com as obras que foram iniciadas. “Ficou bem melhor e espero que melhore ainda mais com o recapeamento que vai começar. Os buracos foram tapados e os riscos de acidente diminuíram. Isso é muito bom”, disse.
De acordo com informações da Fremix Pavimentação e Construções LTDA, empreiteira responsável pelas obras, a avenida será recapeada em seis trechos: o primeiro e o segundo serão nas pistas lateral e central, entre as ruas Tabor e General Eugênio de Melo.
Posteriormente, no terceiro trecho, as obras acontecerão na pista lateral, entre as ruas Eugênio de Melo e Vasconcelos Drumond.
Já o quarto, será na pista central, entre a Eugênio de Melo e a Av. Ricardo Jafet. O quinto circundará as ruas Eugênio de Melo e Almirante Pestana.
Por fim, no sexto trecho, a pista lateral da Dom Pedro será recapeada entre as ruas Eugênio de Melo e da Independência.
Antes de iniciar o recapeamento da via, serão realizados os serviços de execução de guia e sarjeta; drenagem superficial da via os quais são executados para garantir a vida útil do pavimento, uma vez que, sem drenar a água e a estrutura do pavimento é amplamente danificada, também, informou a empreiteira.
“Uma avenida como a Dom Pedro que tem um tráfego de veículos, pedestres e bicicletas muito grande, os buracos atrapalham e muito. Eles ficaram aqui [na avenida] por mais de vinte dias. É muito perigoso. Agora com as obras ficou bom. Pelo menos eles tamparam, mais ou menos. Agora, recapeando, vai ficar uma maravilha”, contou Ivan de Souza Erdido (59), morador da região há 49 anos, que completou pedindo uma ação mais eficaz e continua do poder público. “A avenida só é restaurada em ano político. Nos outros, fica largada. Ficamos a mercê das autoridades, que precisam agir com mais eficácia e frequência”, explicou.
As obras de recapeamento têm contrato global no valor de R$ 8.560.520,50, vigente até 21/03/2023, data em que a via precisa ser entregue pela Fremix para a Secretaria Municipal das Subprefeituras (SMSUB). A empresa está trabalhando para encerrar os serviços o mais rápido possível.
