Na próxima semana comemoramos mais um Dia dos Professores, aqueles que ensinam todas as outras profissões e ensinam a ensinar. Poucos sabem, mas o Dia do Professor é comemorado no dia 15 de outubro pois D. Pedro I baixou, neste mesmo dia em 1827, um Decreto Imperial que criava o Ensino Elementar no Brasil. Por este decreto, todas as cidades, vilas e lugarejos passariam a ter suas escolas de primeiras letras. O Dia dos Professores só foi comemorado pela primeira vez em 1947, 120 anos do decreto de D. Pedro I.
De lá para cá muita coisa mudou: as salas de aula estão diferentes, outros espaços de aprendizados foram criados, a tecnologia entrou de vez no processo de ensino-aprendizagem e a dinâmica de uma aula sofreu grandes transformações.
Para Alessandra Martins Parreira, professora do Colégio NotreDame Rainha, ser professor é ser “uma designer de conhecimentos, é gerenciar o movimento de conhecimento que o estudante precisa desenvolver, é desenhar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem e caminhar junto para que haja efeito. O professor deve, então, ser o mediador do conhecimento”.
Trabalhando em projetos dos mais diferentes assuntos, de economia financeira à alimentação saudável, Alessandra conta que um professor em pleno 2019 precisa ser diferente dos que fomos ensinados no passado: “Um professor nos tempos atuais deve buscar a melhor dinâmica e organização para a sala de aula e os espaços de aprendizado. Não precisa ser nada altamente arrojado, mas precisa ser eficaz. Quando há eficácia o estudante sai satisfeito, com vontade de querer mais e, para isso, é preciso dedicação, tempo, estudo e observação”.
