Imponente e localizado no coração do Ipiranga, o Palacete Rosa, arranca suspiros de quem passa pela rua Bom Pastor. Entrar na mansão que já pertenceu à família Jafet é como se um portal se abrisse para a entrada em outra dimensão, em um mundo de magia onde o visitante é surpreendido a cada cômodo visitado. Obras de arte compõem cada ambiente de maneira harmônica e luxuosa e o esplendor do Palacete Rosa se revela em detalhes cuidadosos. È impossível não se sentir especial pisando no solo permeado de um contexto histórico importantíssimo.
O Palacete Rosa foi idealizado e construído pela família Jafet em 1925, abrigou de 1950 a 1990 o Instituto Santa Olga. Em 2006, depois de um período fechado e com início de um processo de deterioração, o Palacete Rosa é comprado pelo psicólogo e médium Luiz Antonio Gasparetto para novamente servir de residência. Antes mudar de maneira definitiva para seu novo lar, em 2009, Gasparetto determina um minucioso processo de restauração no palacete, que é tombado como patrimônio histórico desde o ano de 1991.
O trabalho consistiu em resgatar todo o esplendor do período áureo desta construção, compreendida entre os anos de 1927 e 1950. Instalado em um terreno de 1,2 mil m² o imóvel ocupa praticamente a totalidade do lote. A meta era recuperar todo o lado histórico, sem se privar de modernidades, respeitando o nível de tombamento local. Entre as inovações o palacete ganhou aquecimento à gás e nova hidráulica.
Os Jafet, curiosamente, já haviam instalado algo bastante incomum em residências nos anos 1920: um elevador, que foi restaurado por Gasparetto. As obras de restauro ficaram a cargo da arquiteta Josanda Ferreira e foram concluídas em 2009, quando Gasparetto passou definitivamente a residir no local até sua morte em 3 de maio de 2018. Desde seu falecimento o casarão está sendo mantido preservado e em dia por herdeiros, que optaram a colocá-lo à disposição do mercado para que venha a ter um novo dono. Rumo a um novo proprietário. Esta relíquia mourisca agora caminha para ter um novo dono. Através da Alfa Leilões, empresa especializada no segmento imobiliário, será possível a um novo candidato dar lance no Palacete Rosa até fevereiro de 2021. Esse é o segundo leilão, já que uma primeira tentativa de venda teve abertura iniciada em junho e fechamento no dia 25 de agosto, sem nenhum lance.
O valor inicial será mantido o mesmo, em R$ 5.500.000,00.
