Apresentações de circo, intervenções, performances, cortejos, visitas educativas e dois concertos de música clássica com a Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica, a Orquestra Sinfônica da USP (Osusp) e o CoralUSP integraram a rede de atividades da terceira edição do Museu do Ipiranga em Festa que aconteceu no sábado (7), nas dependências do Parque Independência e Museu Paulista.
A programação, norteada pela reflexão sobre a falta de representatividade de alguns grupos nas narrativas históricas oficiais, teve como objetivo valorizar a diversidade cultural do País por meio da presença de artistas que celebram a cultura popular.
O sucesso das primeiras edições fizeram o evento dobrar de tamanho. As atividades eram todas gratuitas e voltadas para todas as idades. “Trouxe toda a família. Vou aproveitar a comemoração dos 197 anos da Independência do Brasil e a etapa da renovação do Museu do Ipiranga”, afirmou a frequentadora Kelly Balbino.

Entre os destaques, estava a apresentação da Jazz Orquestra Sinfônica, que prestou homenagem a João Gilberto, com canções que marcaram a carreira do artista, na Praça do Monumento. “É emocionante e fico arrepiada de presenciar essa homenagem”, disse Vanessa Leite.
