Chapada dos Veadeiros recebe 17ª edição da Aldeia Multiétnica com vivências indígenas, imersão cultural e shows
Desde o dia 11, até o dia 20 de julho, a região da Chapada dos Veadeiros, em Goiás, se transforma em um poderoso ponto de encontro entre culturas, saberes e ancestralidades com a realização da 17ª edição da Aldeia Multiétnica. O evento, que se tornou uma das maiores celebrações da diversidade indígena do país, reúne dezenas de povos originários e promove uma verdadeira imersão para os visitantes interessados em conhecer de perto os modos de vida, as lutas e as expressões culturais dos primeiros habitantes do Brasil.
Mais do que um festival, a Aldeia Multiétnica é uma vivência transformadora e uma plataforma de fortalecimento das culturas indígenas, promovida em um local de rara beleza natural e importância histórica: o entorno do Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros, área reconhecida como Patrimônio Natural da Humanidade pela Unesco. Com uma programação que inclui rituais, cantos, danças, gastronomia tradicional, debates, oficinas, feira de artesanato e trilhas em meio à natureza do Cerrado, o evento tem se consolidado como um espaço de diálogo profundo entre indígenas e não indígenas.
Em 2024, mais de 5 mil pessoas passaram pela Aldeia. Em 2025, a expectativa é de um público ainda maior. A estrutura do evento é pensada para oferecer uma experiência completa, respeitosa e educativa, onde os visitantes podem participar de forma ativa da rotina das aldeias, aprendendo diretamente com os representantes de cada povo. A cada dia, uma nova etnia assume o protagonismo da programação, guiando os presentes por meio de rituais e celebrações que seguem até o amanhecer seguinte.
A agenda cultural é extensa e intensa. Até o dia 18 de julho, sete povos indígenas comandam as festas diárias: Kayapó Mebêngôkré, Kariri Xocó, Xavante, Krahô, Guarani Mbyá, Xingu e Fulni-ô. Nesses dias os visitantes podem conhecer os rituais, as danças e os saberes tradicionais dessas comunidades, incluindo seus modos de vida, cosmovisões e formas de resistência diante das ameaças ao território e à cultura.
Nos dois últimos dias, 19 e 20 de julho, ocorre o já tradicional Encontro na Aldeia, uma celebração musical que reúne nomes expressivos da cena indígena e da música brasileira. O sábado contará com apresentações da cantora indígena Tainara Takua, do rapper Owerá (ex-Kariri Xocó) e da banda Tribo de Jah, com seu reggae de raízes. No domingo, a noite começa com a performance potente de Djuena Tikuna, seguida pelo grupo Pé de Cerrado, e se encerra com um show do cantor pernambucano Lenine, que participa do evento como um gesto público de apoio às causas indígenas e à preservação ambiental.
O espaço físico da Aldeia Multiétnica também é parte fundamental da experiência. O local abriga oito ocas (casas indígenas tradicionais), construídas por representantes de diferentes povos, como Kayapó/Mebêngôkré, Krahô, Fulni-ô, Guarani Mbyá, Xavante, Kariri Xocó, Alto Xingu, Yanomami e Kalunga, este último o maior território quilombola do país. No centro da Aldeia está a Xapono, casa tradicional Yanomami idealizada por Davi Kopenawa, uma das principais lideranças indígenas do Brasil. A Xapono simboliza o coração da Aldeia Multiétnica, um lugar de troca, proteção espiritual e união entre todos os povos.
Além das atividades culturais, os visitantes podem se conectar com a exuberância natural do Cerrado. Dentro do território da Aldeia, é possível acessar trilhas exclusivas e banhar-se nas três cachoeiras da propriedade: Almécegas I, II e III. Há ainda trilhas que levam aos poços do Rio dos Couros, ao Topo Almécegas I e ao chamado Caminho da Origem, que percorre todas as casas indígenas da Aldeia, cada uma com sua arquitetura simbólica e narrativa histórica.
Criada em 2007, a Aldeia Multiétnica é promovida pela Casa de Cultura Cavaleiro de Jorge e pelo Centro de Estudos Universais – AUM, instituições sem fins lucrativos que trabalham durante todo o ano em articulação com os povos indígenas participantes. Mais de 10 mil indígenas já passaram pelo projeto, que extrapola os limites do evento de julho e mantém ações permanentes de resistência cultural, política e educacional nos territórios indígenas, em Brasília e na Chapada dos Veadeiros.
A Aldeia Multiétnica não é apenas um evento cultural. É um grito coletivo por respeito, memória, pertencimento e futuro. Em tempos de urgência climática e de ataques aos direitos originários, a edição de 2025 reafirma seu compromisso com a diversidade, com a escuta ativa e com a construção de um país mais consciente de suas raízes ancestrais.
