Os moradores de Heliópolis contam as horas, na torcida pelo final da reforma do galpão que vai receber a UBS (Unidade Básica de Saúde) Sacomã, mas na segunda-feira (27) tiveram mais uma decepção: a Prefeitura havia prometido concluir nesse dia as obras, mas isso não ocorreu e o novo atraso já soma dois meses. A promessa anterior era encerrar o serviço no dia 27 de março.
A população local e os integrantes do Fórum Popular de Saúde da Unas (União de Núcleos, Associações e Sociedade de Heliópolis e São João Clímaco) cobram desde 2015 a Prefeitura pela abertura da UBS Sacomã na estrada das Lágrimas, 1.604. A adaptação do prédio teve início em janeiro último, após pressão das lideranças comunitárias e atos de denúncia. O prazo estabelecido inicialmente (27 de março) foi adiado duas vezes.
Especulou-se na reunião do Conselho Gestor da unidade de saúde que os funcionários da obra estão com os salários atrasados. “Precisamos concluir a UBS, porque logo em seguida tem a obra da UPA (Unidade de Pronto Atendimento), que também é muito importante para a população”, avaliou o diretor da Unas e conselheiro municipal de Saúde, Manoel Otaviano. “A UPA vai ficar onde é a atual UBS Sacomã, e cumprirá o papel de um hospital de pequeno porte, podendo atender pediatria, que hoje não tem , além de internações de até quatro dias”, ele comentou.
Outra queixa de Otaviano é quanto aluguel do galpão em que vai funcionar a UBS. Ele está fechado há cerca de três anos, mas, segundo o diretor da Unas, a Prefeitura paga R$ 35 mil por mês. Ele acrescenta que há equipamentos médicos no prédio, se deteriorando. A sugestão do líder comunitário é colocar moradores para fiscalizar as obras.
