Faltando 153 dias para as comemorações do bicentenário da independência, quando o Museu do Ipiranga será entregue à população, as obras de engenharia civil do edifício monumental já foram concluídas. Agora equipes de restauradores, arquitetos e engenheiros estão trabalhando incansavelmente na restauração das obras de arte existentes do Museu.Foram recuperados com o restauro entregue essa semana: saguão, salas de exposição e corredores do projeto original realizado na fundação do Museu em 1895 pelo italiano radicado no Brasil Tommaso Gaudenzio Bezzi (1844-1915), além da fachada principal.
“Aqui pudemos usar quase toda nossa área de conhecimento específico : restauramos e refizemos as coberturas em cobre, esquadrias de madeira, fachadas, ladrilhos hidráulicos , recomposições de forros, pisos de madeira, reforços e adaptações do local para acessibilidade e criação de um mirante, agora os reforços necessários e tratamentos de trincas , tudo isso com equipe própria”, comenta Maria Aparecida Soukef Nasser, diretora de obras da Concrejato, uma das empresas responsáveis pelas obras do monumento.
Já os 7.600 metros quadrados da fachada ficou pronta em fevereiro desse ano, seguindo a risca o cronograma de obras para a celebração do bicentenário da independência.
Os profissionais correm e trabalham para entregar outras partes igualmente importantes da obra, como: a montagem das exposições permanentes, que começa nos próximos dias; a finalização dos equipamentos de modernização e mobilidade como elevadores e a instalação do aparato multimídia, para auxiliar os visitantes.
Existe também uma nova área a ser construída, que fica à frente e abaixo do edifício-monumento, onde estará o famoso jardim francês com suas fontes, um auditório, um moderno espaço para exposição temporária com café e as entradas que, segundo o projeto, serão amplas e com um acesso mais facilitado aos ambientes internos do edifício. “As entradas e aberturas criadas na amurada de acesso ao edifício ampliação e os acessos que chegarão ao edifício monumento é muito especial, deu um enorme prazer em fazer ao mesmo tempo muito trabalho”, afirma Maria Aparecida, que também foi responsável por obras de restauro como a Catedral da Sé, Museu da Língua Portuguesa, Museu do Futebol, entre outras.
Processo minucioso
No salão nobre do edifício, onde se encontra a famosa tela “Independência ou Morte” de Pedro Américo, foram restaurados os pisos, ornamentos e algumas obras de arte fixas. Os tacos do chão foram lixados, raspados, pintados e polidos por meio de um trabalho singular para sanar os danos causados pelo tempo.
Responsável pelo restauro do Museu do Ipiranga, quando convidou empresas para bancarem a obra com recursos da lei Rouanet a um custo de 210 milhões , o ex-governador João Dória havia marcado uma visita para quinta-feira (31) de março ao local. Faltava dois dias para o ex-governador decidir se iria continuar no cargo ou se afastar para concorrer nas eleições de outubrio para a presidência da república. Negociações políticas que se arrastaram madrugada atebtro naquale dia fizeram com que Dória desistisse da visita. Agora restará à população aguardar mais cinco mees para ter acesso a um dos mais importantes monumentos do país novo, enxuto e mais inclusivo.
