Nesta quarta-feira (5), uma coletiva de imprensa o prefeito de São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes, detalhou sobre a implantação e o andamento do Projeto “3D na Favela do Haiti”, na Vila Bela. A iniciativa é da empresa responsável pelo Festival The Town, com o apoio da Prefeitura.
A ação faz parte do programa “Por Um Mundo Melhor”, que nasceu no Rock In Rio e agora chega ao Festival The Town, por conta de uma parceria entre a Prefeitura de SP, Gerando Falções, Gerdau, Fundação Grupo Volkswagen e Vozes da Periferia.
“Essa ação toda é um exemplo de vida para a gente, que precisa na nossa vida, no nosso dia-a-dia, dentro da “nossa” comunidade, poder nos juntar, “um ajudar o outro, porque quando a gente [se] junta, têm um propósito, a gente fica mais forte e as coisas acontecem”, apontou o prefeito de São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes, engrandecendo e parabenizando as parcerias conjuntas para fazer o projeto acontecer. ““Tô” muito feliz. Parabéns a cada um de vocês”, completou Nunes.
Roberto Medina é o idealizador do Rock In Rio, The Town e um dos organizadores da iniciativa em São Paulo. Segundo ele: “a gente está tentando fazer um pedacinho da extensão do que vai acontecer no The Town aqui. A gente entende que projeto social é fundamental para a cidade, para o país, estamos tentando “botar” uma luz para a favela do Haiti e mostrar que tem jeito. Vocês [moradores da comunidade] estão sendo premiados com a vida que vocês merecem ter”.
Ludmilla e Criolo, estiveram presentes durante a coletiva. “Muito legal viver o The Town como um festival que pensa nos shows mas vai para além disso e pensa nas pessoas também, pensa no social”, apontou a cantora, que ficou grata por ter sido convidada para fazer parte do momento de alegria para as famílias da Haiti. “Eu sempre quis fazer parte dessas ações sociais, mas não sabia como, então encontrei o Roberto Medina que é um cara super engajado nessa causa, e acho que é isso que vai fazer a diferença”, frisou ainda.
“Agradeço por poder fazer parte disso, ver que é possível. Tenho certeza que isso é insporação para outras ações, que venham mais e mais e mais e as pessoas se sintam tocadas por ações como esta tão forte que está acontecendo aqui hoje”, destacou Criolo.
O Projeto 3D (Digital, Digna e Desenvolvida) prevê melhorias habitacionais, abastecimento de água e saneamento, formação de lideranças comunitárias, construção de sobrados e assobradados sustentáveis, coloração de hidrômetros, entre outras medidas.
O principal objetivo é transformar a vida das famílias que vivem na comunidade, viabilizando ações que promovem o fortalecimento comunitário, empreendedorismo, capacitação, empregabilidade e acompanhamento individualizado dos moradores.
A favela do Haiti é a quinta 3D do Brasil, a primeira na Cidade de São Paulo, e foi escolhida pela ONG Gerando Falcões. O trabalho na região já tem acontecido desde 2022, quando um estudo no local identificou o percentual de pessoas que ficaram entre a pobreza e o início da dignidade na classificação da busca pela quebra do ciclo da pobreza.
Um dignômetro foi inaugurado após a coletiva, o qual apontará a evolução e o avanço dos trabalhos que estão sendo realizados na comunidade, que até o momento já está com 20% de espaços revitalizados; 10% de moradias transformadas; 50% de pessoas inseridas no mercado de trabalho e 20% de pessoas qualificadas.
As obras da praça central da comunidade, a qual receberá o nome de Chicão, homenageando um dos moradores da região, engajado no projeto, já começaram e até o final de agosto, por exemplo, até 100% do abastecimento de água deve chegar aos moradores de Haiti.
