No dia 18 de junho (domingo), de manhã, o Parque da Independência receberá o Circuito Neo Running, com provas de 5 km e 10km, além de caminhada de 3km. As inscrições gratuitas para participar do evento se encerraram em 12 minutos com 3 mil inscritos.
Os ipiranguistas aguardam ansiosos e animados, já que o Parque não recebe corridas há quase um ano e meio, por conta das obras que prepararam o local para a comemoração dos 200 anos da Independência, em setembro do ano passado.
Os participantes receberão kits, compostos por número de peito com chip, sacochila e camiseta, que serão retirados no dia da corrida. Este ano, a organização do evento também está pedindo a doação de duas peças de roupa de inverno para a campanha do agasalho.
Outros dois eventos acontecerão em julho, também no Parque da Independência, com inscrições gratuitas: Circuito Happy Running e Circuito Atletas do Bem.
Também no domingo o Sesc Ipiranga vai realizar a corrida fora da caixa, cujo objetivo é proporcionar aos praticantes, reflexões sobre o correr e sua relação com os espaços públicos, a cidade, seus territórios e contextos históricos.
Nessa etapa, o “Corrida fora da Caixa”, visita pontos do bairro e da cidade e provoca reflexões pelos caminhos percorridos a partir do Sesc Ipiranga, até a unidade do Sesc Belenzinho.
Além de conhecer os caminhos e possibilidades de percurso entre as unidades, os participantes podem se aprofundar na história das ruas, dos bairros e dos monumentos que estiverem no caminho, assim, o participante tem a oportunidade de conhecer sobre a modalidade e suas possibilidades de prática e também refletir sobre as diversas questões do território e suas relações com a corrida.
O encontro será às 8hs no Sesc Ipiranga, na rua Bom Pastor 822.
