No dia 3 de novembro, a partir das 9h, o Parque Independência vai receber o evento Skate Day for Girls. Um evento inédito, com clínicas de skate para mulheres, amigos e familiares em várias modalidades: Street, Downhill Slide, Longboard, Slalom, Classic, Freestyle e Iniciante.
“Conceder o poder de participação social entre mulheres tem sido grande debate dentro do esporte, que um dia já foi discriminado no País. Lutamos pela igualdade de gêneros e mostramos que somos mulheres, e sim, respeitadas por sermos skatistas. Queremos mostrar toda a nossa força e energia, fortalecendo umas às outras, das mulheres que sonham e se conectam através do skate”, comenta a Idealizadora do evento, Fernanda Creazzo.
O Encontro começará com café da manhã e um bate-papo com convidados especiais. Atrações com DJ, B-Boys, B-Girls, Apresentação Anjos Guerreiros e gincanas de skate como: High Jump, Push Race e Maior Ollie com premiação, sorteio de brindes no local.
“Através da nossa história no skate, vamos reunir os maiores nomes de skatistas da geração old e new school em um único evento. As modalidades em clínicas serão representadas pelos skatistas convidados, orientando os mesmos, a experimentar gratuitamente a sensação de andar de skate em outra modalidade e aprender com eles novas manobras. Para quem vai andar pela primeira vez, teremos instrutores no local com skate e equipamentos de proteção disponível”, declara Daniela Ribeiro, organizadora do evento.
O Parque da Independência fica na avenida Nazaré, s/nº. Para participar, basta contribuir com 1Kg de alimento não perecível, que será revertido para o Social da Igreja Bola de Neve – Intime Culture de Santo André.
