O Hospital Dia Flávio Gianotti, com apoio da Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente (AACD), promove atendimento à população por meio da Paraoficina Móvel, ação que realiza manutenção e reparos em cadeiras de rodas, órteses, próteses e meios auxiliares de locomoção, como muletas, bengalas e andadores. Nesse mês de julho, o atendimento para os moradores do Ipiranga e região será no dia 13, terça-feira. Todo serviço é realizado de forma gratuita.
Os trabalhos são feitos em uma van customizada com equipamentos, máquinas, ferramentas, peças de reposição e material para os reparos, que são executados pela AACD, organização referência na reabilitação e habilitação de pessoas com deficiências físicas e necessidades neuro-ortopédicas.
Os técnicos afirmam que a falta de manutenção e de reparos dos equipamentos, muitas vezes, faz com que eles deixem de ser usados ou continuem sendo usados de maneira precária, o que pode ameaçar a segurança física dos usuários. Diante deste cenário, a Paraoficina Móvel realiza a manutenção necessária e contribui para o aumento da durabilidade e funcionalidade das Órteses, Próteses e Meios auxiliares de locomoção (OPMs) das pessoas com deficiência.
No dia do atendimento, a orientação é para que o munícipe apresente o cartão do SUS e um documento com foto. O horário de atendimento é das 9h às 17h. O serviço também pode ser agendado pelo telefone: 3913-4071. A unidade Flávio Gianotti fica na rua Xavier de Almeida, 210.
