Fiquei sabendo da invasão e vim pra cá. No começo fiquei apreensiva, mas só de ter um teto para dormir foi o suficiente para mim”, disse apreensiva.
Maria é casada com Claudemir dos Anjos de Oliveira, ajudante de pedreiro, que também está desempregado no momento. “Não posso deixar meu filhos nascer na rua. Faço bicos, vendo altinha, papelão, mas o que ganho mal dá para comer, imagina para comprar uma casa ou pagar um aluguel”, finaliza.
Maria Aparecida conta que nos próximos dias ela corre o risco de ficar novamente sem uma casa. Está agendado para terça-feira (24), uma nova reintegração de posse. Essa é a terceira vez que um mandato foi deferido para retirar as famílias que estão no terreno desde o dia 22 de julho. “Não durmo e só choro. Já tive duas crises nervosas e não estou cuidando do meu bebê”, completa.
Uma das lideranças da ocupação, Jacinéia de Fátima, conta que a área era um lixão e estava abandonada. “Este terreno estava abandonado há mais de 20 anos . quando entramos a CDHU alegou que tinha um projeto habitacional. Não queremos nada de graça nem queremos tomar nada de ninguém. Queremos pagar por isso, mas queremos que seja iniciado um projeto de moradia rápido, porque aqui ninguém tem onde morar”, diz a líder.
Com centenas de histórias como a de Maria e Jacinéia, a ocupação não para de crescer. Praticamente todo dia chegam famílias novas no local. Ao todo a ocupação já abriga cerca de 3 mil pessoas.
Também desempregada e mãe de uma jovem deficiente de 23 anos, Eni Lopes, tampouco sabia para onde ir. “Sou sozinha com minha filha que é especial e fui despejada. As pessoas às vezes olham para a gente meio feio, mas tudo o que eu queria era ter um lugar para minha filha dormir. Graças a Deus apareceu essa ocupação, que para muitos é vista como uma bagunça. Se não fosse por ela, estaríamos na rua” resume Eni.
