O Museu do Ipiranga, está com visitação gratuita para o público geral até 6 de dezembro e, devido à alta procura pelos ingressos, optou por mudar a forma como eles são disponibilizados a partir da sexta-feira (18).
Até então, toda sexta de manhã, às 10h, a plataforma oficial do Museu na internet liberava os ingressos para as visitações que ocorreriam apenas na semana seguinte.
A partir do dia 18, ainda às sextas-feiras, serão disponibilizados ingressos para as duas semanas seguintes. O local funciona de terça-feira a domingo, das 11h às 17h.
Para visitar, é necessário fazer o agendamento online. A entrada de crianças de até 6 anos é livre. Caso haja um imprevisto e a pessoa não possa comparecer na data e horário marcados para a visitação, ela pode ceder o ingresso para um terceiro, sem necessidade de fazer alterações no cadastro.
A reabertura do Museu do Ipiranga foi feita em grande estilo, no dia 7 de Setembro, quando, também, se comemorou o Bicentenário da Independência. Fechado a 9 anos, quando foi constatado que, em função da má conservação, estava ameaçado de desabar e as obras de artes poderiam ser afetadas. O museu e todas as obras existentes foram salvas graças a iniciativa do então governador João Dória que buscou apoio da iniciativa privada e, via Lei Rouanet, obteve mais de 210 milhões para as obras. Hoje o Museu do Ipiranga é considerado um dos mais modernos do mundo, porém muita coisa ainda precisa ser feita, o que, segundo estimativa de pessoas especializadas, requer investimentos superiores a 30 milhões.
