Movimento quer transformar antigo incinerador em Usina Eco-Cultural
Um movimento plural e de interesse comunitário, pretende transformar o antigo Incinerador Vergueiro, abandonado há 20 anos, em uma Usina Eco-Cultural, propondo a criação – no local – do Museu do Meio Ambiente, integrado ao mercado de comida orgânica.
Há 11 meses, o movimento ocupou o espaço abandonado, principalmente, na área externa, tornando-o uma “ocupação cultural”, na qual teatro e dança, prática de esportes e oficina de educação ambiental – por exemplo – são realizados de maneira gratuita para quem quiser participar.
Através do Conselho do meio ambiente, sustentabilidade e cultura de paz, nasceu a iniciativa do movimento de ocupação do antigo incinerador. De acordo com um documento que apresenta o projeto do qual a reportagem do Jornal Ipiranga News teve acesso, Débora Machado, conselheira e arquiteta, levou a ideia para debate como uma necessidade de revitalização da área e transformação do uso para que se torne um espaço público de uso social.
“Nossa proposta mostra o quanto é necessário uma mobilização conjunta com a comunidade, no sentido de transformação do espaço interno e externo da Usina, por isso destacamos a importância do tombamento do prédio para a preservação do patrimônio”, disse Débora à equipe de reportagem do Jornal Ipiranga News.
A arquiteta, moradora do Ipiranga e conselheira do Cades – Conselho do Meio Ambiente, Sustentabilidade e Cultura de Paz, afirmou ainda: “Defendemos a transformação do seu uso, as discussões do movimento caminham para um espaço multiuso com centro cultural e educação ambiental, nosso projeto é a criação do Museu do Meio-Ambiente e Mercado de Alimentação Orgânica, valorizando assim a cultura do bairro, a memória da edificação e valorização da consciência ambiental, esses três pilares tem guiado nosso grupo, que é composto de artistas do bairro, agentes socioambientais, moradores da região e simpatizantes do movimento de outras”.
A ideia é que haja uma ação conjunta com a comunidade para ocasionar uma transformação do seu uso.
Os responsáveis pela ação, justificam também que as práticas culturais são de fundamental importância para a diminuição de desigualdades sociais, aumento da expectativa e qualidade de vida e, assim, deve ser ofertada de forma obrigatória pelo poder púbico à toda população.
A diminuição dos frequentadores usuários de drogas e bandidos no lugar desde que foi tomado pelo movimento, também é salientada.
A invasão do espaço, porém, não foi bem vista pela justiça, nem pela Subprefeitura do Ipiranga, as quais repudiaram o movimento. Tanto é que, uma multa no valor de R$ 42 mil foi aplicada. Assim, nesta segunda-feira (6), um grupo se reuniu com o Subprefeito do Ipiranga, Adinilson Almeida, para tentar chegar em um acordo que seja benéfico para ambas as partes.
Almeida alegou, durante a reunião, que, os manifestantes podem ocupar a rua próxima ao local para realizar suas reinvindicações e continuar com as atividades que estão sendo realizadas nele, caso queiram. Mas, salientou que não pode compactuar com a invasão do local, pois o ato fere a Lei.
O Subprefeito disse que se preocupa, também, com a segurança das pessoas que participam das atividades realizadas de maneira irregular no lugar, mesmo que os membros do movimento tenham afirmado que tomam todos os cuidados e as áreas mais perigosas do terreno estão separadas com tapumes.
Ele se propôs, ainda, a fechar a rua em prol do movimento, caso eles saiam do terreno invadido e “entreguem a chave” para ele. Nada foi concretamente firmado em relação a isso.
Com nenhum acordo, objetivo, durante o encontro, uma nova conversa deve ser marcada entre as partes em busca da melhor solução para o antigo incinerador.
