O reforço de caixa dado pelo prefeito Bruno Covas (PSDB) vai permitir às 32 subprefeituras melhorar a qualidade da zeladoria na cidade de São Paulo. A verba destinada a esses serviços foi triplicada, saltando de R$ 500 milhões para R$ 1,5 bilhão por ano. “Nós temos poucas equipes, mas agora o prefeito liberou mais recursos e podemos incrementar o setor, contratando mais equipes”, adiantou o secretário municipal das subprefeituras, Alexandre Modonezi.
Ele visitou o Ipiranga, na segunda-feira (15), e aproveitou para expor as novidades da pasta aos jornais locais. Uma delas é que em breve a região vai ganhar o quinto Ecoponto. O repositório de entulho e outros materiais indesejáveis será na rua Tocantínia, na Vila Liviero, e vai funcionar nos moldes dos outros quatro, localizados na avenida Teresa Cristina, na rua Santa Cruz, Comandante Taylor e Italva.
O encontro com o secretário ocorreu na padaria Big Bread e, entre os participantes, estavam três subprefeitos: Caio Luz, do Ipiranga; Fabrício Cobra, de Vila Mariana; e Janaína Lopes de Martini, de Santo Amaro. O tema era zeladoria, que cuida do trabalho pesado das subprefeituras. Cabe a ela tapar buracos nas ruas, encarregar-se da poda de árvores e do corte de grama, a limpeza de bueiros, a varrição e o descarte irregular de lixo em vias públicas, que se constitui no calcanhar de Aquiles da gestão municipal. “É uma tarefa ingrata, mas estamos combatendo com firmeza a ação dos vândalos”, afirmou Modonezi. “Eram quatro mil pontos viciados e conseguimos baixar para dois mil e 600. Nós apreendemos recentemente oito caminhões que despejavam entulho em locais ermos e fizemos vários flagrantes”, acrescentou. “Foi a primeira vez que uma operação desse porte resulta em flagrantes”, orgulhou-se.
O secretário lamenta que o descarte irregular não seja considerado crime ambiental. “Eu vou me esforçar para que o ato de jogar sujeira nas ruas, nos rios e nos córregos seja enquadrado como crime ambiental”, ele comentou, que tomou posse em novembro da secretaria das subprefeituras. Desde que assumiu, ele visita todas as manhãs as 32 subprefeituras.
