A Hyundai Motor Brasil convocou, na sexta-feira (13), os proprietários dos veículos HB20 e HB20S, equipados com motor 1.0 e transmissão manual de 5 marchas, modelo 2017, fabricados entre 20/4 e 26/5/2017, chassis de 9BHBG51CAHP760125 a 9BHBG51CAHP768013 (não sequenciais) a agendarem junto a uma concessionária da marca a inspeção da junta homocinética do semieixo do veículo e, se necessário, a sua substituição.
No comunicado, a empresa informa ter identificado um lote de pistas do rolamento interno da junta homocinética do semieixo dianteiro com dureza abaixo do especificado, o que pode ocasionar ruído no momento das manobras e/ou vibração durante a condução do veículo devido ao desgaste prematuro. Ao continuar operando o veículo nessas condições, pode ocorrer a quebra da pista do rolamento interno da junta homocinética do semieixo e o veículo perderá a tração. A perda da tração durante a condução do veículo pode gerar acidentes com consequentes danos físicos e materiais aos ocupantes do veículo e terceiros.
A empresa informa que, independente da perda de tração, os freios e a direção continuam funcionando normalmente. E recomenda a interrupção do uso do veículo, caso identifique qualquer ruído nas manobras e/ou vibração durante a condução do veículo.
