Para homenagear os 60 anos de carreira da artista plástica Amelia Toledo, o Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil recebe até 8 de janeiro de 2018 a exposição “Lembrei que Esqueci”.
Cerca de 60 obras da artista ocupam os andares do CCBB, divididas em núcleos temáticos.
Amelia Toledo é uma referência na investigação de trabalhos com diferentes materiais e técnicas. Reconhecida como uma notável escultora, pintora, desenhista e designer, ela continua produzindo até hoje, aos 90 anos. A mostra sintetiza toda a potencialidade da artista em propor novas maneiras de se olhar para os objetos. A curadoria é de Marcus Lontra Costa.
No subsolo, estão as obras que ocupam o espaço chamado de “A Caverna”. São trabalhos que utilizam rochas e cristais para explorar os sentidos. No térreo, o eixo temático é “O Encontro”, com obras que provocam uma reflexão sobre o tempo e a transformação do homem. Já no 1º andar, a mistura de cores, formas, sensações e sentimentos compõem o eixo “A Passagem”. O público verá aqui caleidoscópios feitos com chapas de aço inox. “A Memória” norteará as obras do 2º andar e trabalhos com papel, retalhos, fiapos e farrapos estão no 3º andar, cujo tema é “A Luz”.
No último andar, sob o tema “O Destino”, obras que falam de um futuro dominado pela indústria da comunicação ganham a vez. A exposição está muito bem elaborada e a visitação é gratuita, mas deve ser agendada.
