Referência no ensino técnico e prestes a completar 108 anos de serviços prestados a São Paulo, a ETEC Getúlio Vargas está com turmas abertas no vestibulinho de meio de ano. Os cursos começam em agosto e são gratuitos. Os interessados deverão fazer inscrição no portal vestibulinho ETEC (link adiante) e uma prova na área em que tem interesse.
Os cursos oferecidos são Automação Industrial, Telecomunicações, Especialização em Radiocomunicação, Mecatrônica e Eletrotécnica. As turmas serão destinadas ao período noturno e, para se candidatar a uma vaga, o estudante deve estar no 2º ano do ensino médio ou já ter concluído. A Especialização em Radiocomunicação exige formação técnica na área de Telecomunicações, Automação Industrial, Eletrotécnica ou Eletroeletrônica.
São 40 vagas para Automação Industrial e Telecomunicações e 25 vagas para Especialização em Radiocomunicação. Mecatrônica, que tem como coordenador o professor Ênio Filoni, está oferecendo 40 vagas à tarde e 40 à noite. Eletrotécnica, cuja coordenação é do professor Sérgio Ferraz, tem 40 vagas à noite. “O público da tarde é formado basicamente por jovens com menos de 18 anos, mas o da noite é mais experiente, já trabalha na área e se propõe a fazer nossos cursos pra crescer na carreira”, comentam os professores Daniel Kaiser, coordenador do curso de Telecomunicações em Rádio, e Sérgio Minas Melconian, coordenador da cadeira de Automação Industrial.
Os pretendentes a uma vaga na ETEC Getúlio Vargas podem ter a chance de estudar em uma instituição modelo em São Paulo. Ela ocupa uma quadra entre as ruas Moreira e Costa, Clóvis Bueno de Azevedo, Padre Marchetti e Gama Lobo. O ambiente é acolhedor, os professores são bem preparados e comprometidos com o processo educacional e a parte que chama a atenção é a tecnologia utilizada pelo estabelecimento de ensino. “Temos um nível técnico avançado e posso garantir que muitas faculdades não dispõem da nossa tecnologia”, diz o professor Sérgio Minas.
O país tem hoje mais de 13 milhões de desempregados, mas o mercado no setor de Tecnologia da Informação (TI) corre no sentido inverso ao da crise. Há vagas, mas faltam profissionais qualificados. O Ministério da Ciência e Tecnologia (MCT) estima que, na próxima década, a área de TI no Brasil deve crescer 10% ao ano, contra 3%no resto do mundo. Devem ser criados nesse segmento, até 2024, 70 mil empregos por ano, que não podem ser preenchidos. A ETEC Getúlio Vargas trabalha no sentido de colocar no mercado profissionais capacitados.
