Entre 3 de maio e 8 de junho, foi realizado no Centro Educacional Unificado (CEU) Meninos o Projeto Piloto “Defesa Civil na Escola”. A iniciativa teve o objetivo de aprimorar a integração entre as comunidades em áreas de risco e a Defesa Civil por meio da inserção do seu papel preventivo e educativo no cotidiano escolar.
O projeto surgiu e foi estruturado a partir de uma iniciativa de Ricardo Januário da Silva, assessor técnico de Defesa Civil do Ipiranga, junto com Natália Leite de Morais, assistente técnica da divisão de prevenção da Coordenadoria Municipal de Defesa Civil, e Mario Antônio dos Santos, supervisor de cultura da Prefeitura Regional do Ipiranga. Logo que formulada, a proposta do projeto foi apresentada ao gestor do CEU, Fabiano Pedrosa Chrisóstomo, e dessa forma foi aprovada.
A iniciativa foi organizada pela diretora da EMEF CEU Meninos, Fernanda Mendes, junto com os coordenadores pedagógicos Taize Grotto de Oliveira e Maurício Osório Gonçalves. Ela foi desenvolvida com os estudantes da EMEF e seu foco central foi o de promover atividades e palestras de conscientização e prevenção de acidentes, sobre riscos de incêndio, riscos de vida e a respeito da aplicação de técnicas básicas de primeiros socorros.
As palestras foram ministradas no CEU Meninos e ocorreram de uma a duas vezes por semana em dois horários: das 8h30 às 11h50 e das 14h25 às 18h30.
Os temas das palestras foram pensados para atender as especificidades da comunidade do entorno do CEU Meninos, e para tanto, foram firmadas parcerias com instrutores de diversas áreas e órgãos, como Eletropaulo, SOMA, PAVs, Cruz Vermelha e Polícia Militar (Meio Ambiente e PROERD).
“O projeto atingiu seu objetivo. Foram realizadas palestras para, aproximadamente, 420 adolescentes que participaram de forma ativa, demonstrando interesse e realizando questionamentos pertinentes aos temas apresentados”, diz Gilvanete Magali Ribeiro Oliveira Martins, coordenadora de ação cultural do CEU Meninos.
