Quem gosta de Música Popular Brasileira teve uma boa oportunidade no domingo (5), de escutar o melhor do choro, com mais uma edição do projeto “Choro na Manhã”, que ocorre no Centro Cultural Jabaquara.
Como acontece desde 2006, sempre no primeiro domingo de cada mês, o Conjunto Retratos apresenta o melhor do choro, permitindo que o público se sinta como em uma antiga roda musical.
O grupo sempre agrada os ilustres convidados que lotam o auditório Carolina Maria de Jesus, com um repertório composto por chorinho, samba clássico e MPB. A terapeuta ocupacional Kate da Silva, de 39 anos, elogiou a iniciativa. “Participar de um evento como este é um presente numa manhã de domingo. Além da boa música, reencontrei vários amigos.”
A apresentação contou ainda com a participação do violinista Wellington Silva. Durante o recital, o público teve a oportunidade de conhecer histórias e curiosidades da música brasileira e de diversos músicos.
A artista plástica Yolanda Geneco, de 64 anos, não só aprovou o evento, como cantou junto com o grupo. “Achei fantástico, deve ser repetido mais vezes. Adoro chorinho, essas músicas fazem parte da minha vida.” A artista ainda ressaltou a importância cultural do evento na região. “Este é a nossa cultura, nosso jeito de socializar, tem chorinho, público e um belo cenário. Sabemos do significado deste espaço, que nos coloca em contato com a história e a memória da cidade”, destacou.
