Idealizador do conjunto habitacional conhecido como “redondinho” em Heliópolis, o arquiteto Ruy Ohtake, que faleceu recentemente, será homenageado pela prefeitura que resolveu dar seu nome ao próximo conjunto a ser inaugurado em Heliópolis. O anúncio foi feiro na manhã dessa quinta-feira (13) pelo prefeito Ricardo Nunes, durante visita as obras dos conjuntos habitacionais Sabesp II e Gleba G, na região de Heliópolis.As obras, que estavam paralisadas e muitas das unidades haviam sido invadidas, foram retomadas e, durante sua visita, o prefeito disse que uma das unidades levará o nome em homenagem ao arquiteto Ruy Ohtake. “Vamos entregar mais de 49 mil unidades habitacionais durante o nosso mandato até 2024. Isso aqui em Heliópolis é uma parte. Um conjunto bonito e que teve o projeto feito pelo arquiteto Ruy Ohtake”, disse.
O empreendimento Sabesp é uma parceria da Prefeitura com a CDHU -Companhia de Desenvolvimento Habitacional e Urbano do Estado de São Paulo. No total, conta com 480 unidades habitacionais dos condomínios 04 e 05 a serem entregues até 2024. A previsão é que ainda neste ano sejam entregues 240 unidades do condomínio 4 e no primeiro semestre de 2024, as unidades do condomínio 5. As famílias dos condomínios 01,02 e 03, cerca de 600, já estão morando desde 2017 e 2019.
Os apartamentos possuem em média 50 m², com dois dormitórios, banheiro, sala cozinha e área de serviço. Os condomínios oferecem área de lazer, bicicletário e sala de estudos.
Já o empreendimento Gleba G (condomínio 
conta com 221 unidades habitacionais com previsão de entrega no segundo semestre de 2022. Os apartamentos possuem em média 45 m², com dois dormitórios, banheiro, sala cozinha e área de serviço. O condomínio oferece área de lazer, pista de Cooper e playground. Do empreendimento Gleba G (condomínio A) foram entregues em 2014, 199 novas moradias.
