Sexta-feira (2) foi dia de festa no Bom Prato Heliópolis que comemorou nove anos de funcionamento. O almoço de aniversário contou com um cardápio especial: salada coronel, batata lisboa, frango assado ao molho de barbecue, suco de framboesa e a sobremesa foi dan top.
Desde sua inauguração, a unidade já serviu mais de 2,7 milhões de refeições. O Bom Prato de Heliópolis, que é gerenciado pela Associação de Auxílio Mútuo da Região Leste – APOIO, serve diariamente 1.350 refeições, sendo 1.200 almoços, por R$ 1,00; e 150 cafés da manhã, por R$ 0,50. Crianças até seis anos não pagam. O restaurante localizado na estrada das Lágrimas oferece alimentação balanceada e de qualidade com foco na população de baixa renda, idosos e pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade social.
A auxiliar de cozinha Antônia Corrêa, vai ao restaurante uma vez por semana, sempre que está pelo Heliópolis. “O preço é ótimo. Desde que abriu, sempre que venho pela comunidade eu almoço aqui e recomendo”, conta. O ajudante de serviço geral, Severino da Silva, aproveitou para almoçar lá com a família. Levou as duas filhas, o neto e a nora. “Sempre comemos aqui, o cardápio é ótimo e gastamos pouco. A família é grande, não dá para comer em outro lugar. Estamos satisfeitos com a qualidade da comida e com o atendimendo”, disse Severino na fila para o tão esperado almoço.
O caminhoneiro Marco Antônio, viaja pela região toda semana e bate ponto no restaurante. “Almoço aqui duas, três vezes por semana. O preço é bom, bem acessível.” Luis Gustavo de Souza, 38 anos, diz que a refeição é ótima. “Uma delícia a comida, tudo maravilhoso.”
No Estado de São Paulo, o Bom Prato é coordenado pela Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social e serve cerca de 93 mil refeições diariamente. Desde a inauguração em 2000, já serviu perto de 225 milhões de refeições e investiu mais de R$ 663 milhões no programa. São 57 unidades em funcionamento, sendo 22 localizadas na capital, 11 na Grande São Paulo, 17 no interior e 07 no litoral.
O almoço, com 1.200 calorias, custa R$ 1,00 e é composto, em geral, por arroz, feijão, salada, legumes, um tipo de carne, farinha de mandioca, pãozinho, suco e sobremesa. No café da manhã, que tem valor tabelado de R$ 0,50, com 400 calorias em média, é oferecido leite com café, achocolatado ou iogurte, pão com margarina, requeijão ou frios e uma fruta da estação.
