Em um encontro único e histórico, a big band paulistana Black Mantra reúne em duas apresentações três lendas da Soul Music brasileira: Gerson King Combo, Carlos Dafé e Hyldon. Os encontros acontecem neste sábado (2) e Domingo (3), no Sesc Mariana.
A Black Mantra é um octeto formado por Caio Leite (baixo), Leonardo Marques (bateria), Ricardo Mastria (guitarra), Kiko Bonato (teclado), Igor Thomaz (saxofone barítono), Pedro Vithor (saxofone tenor), William Tocalino (trombone) e Felippe Pipeta (trompete).
A banda surgiu em 2014, no estúdio Ekord, em São Paulo, quando Caio Leite e Leonardo Marques se dedicaram à trilha sonora de um curta-metragem, Muito Além do Nada (2014). Na ocasião, a dupla pesquisou músicas da era Blaxploitation, movimento cinematográfico norte-americano que surgiu no início da década de 1970. Por dois anos, o grupo fez uma série de shows com o repertório centrado no funk setentista, com clássicos do James Brown.
Os ingressos custam R$ 30 (inteira), R$ 15 (meia-entrada) e R$ 9,00 (trabalhadores do comércio de bens, serviços e turismo e seus dependentes com Credencial Plena), e podem ser comprados online ou nas bilheterias da Rede Sesc. O Sesc Vila Mariana fica na rua Pelotas, 141 – Vila Mariana.

Dentre as novidades previstas, estarão a troca de piso do local, que passará a ser todo acessível; uma cobertura para a piscina, além do aumento de um andar, que já está em andamento e disponibilizará mais salas de aula. Segundo Rosana Alves Guedes Welcman, gestora de equipamento público, o aumento no número de salas, fará com que mais pessoas possam frequentá-lo, diminuindo as listas de espera para poder usufruir do espaço. Atualmente, são 713 alunos que participam das atividades no local. Destas, 634 são da terceira idade. O salão onde acontecem as aulas de ginástica também será reformado e ganhará novo telhado e a quadra da unidade será coberta, de acordo com informações obtidas pela reportagem. “É um grande orgulho para a gente, com muita luta, ter conseguido [fazer as obras]. Essa é a terceira, mas é “a obra””, destacou Rosana, salientando a importância de autoridades para o início dos serviços, como o secretário de esportes, Carlos Viana, e o prefeito de São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes. “Vai virar um clube aqui, de primeiro mundo mesmo. Vai virar um clube para todos. Vai ficar muito lindo, acessível, com muita acessibilidade, para a gente poder atender a todos”, destacou Rosana. A gestora falou à reportagem, ainda, sobre suas expectativas para quando os serviços estiverem prontos. “Já estou imaginando, vendo, todo mundo muito alegre. A galera pode esperar o melhor. Vai ser lindíssimo. Estou super empolgada. A galera vai ficar muito feliz”, afirmou. Ela frisou ainda sobre a possibilidade de mais pessoas poderem frequentar e participar do que é feito, gratuitamente, no Balneário, salientando a importância dos exercícios físicos, também, para a terceira idade. Para Moacir Rafael Lourenço, fiscal do Balneário há 14 anos, a reforma será muito boa para o bairro e os visitantes do balneário. “Vai ser bom para o munícipe.Eu acho que vai ser legal. Estou feliz”, destacou ele. As obras, que começaram no dia 8 de janeiro e devem ser concluídas em 8 meses, podendo se estender para um ano, dependendo das condições externas [como o tempo, por exemplo], a piscina do Balneário está cercada por tapumes, mas funcionando normalmente e as aulas estão acontecendo na perimetral da própria piscina. “Eu espero que seja como um clube social, que todo mundo possa frequentar, sem ter custo nenhum, porque a vida está muito difícil para todo mundo”, destacou Dolores Carvalho Rocha, de 72 anos, uma das frequentadoras mais antigas do Balneário, sobre o que espera após a reforma. “Aqui é uma casa mãe. Bem recebida, os diretores são amigos, os professores, nem se fala é como se fosse da casa da gente, então aqui para mim é como se fosse o paraíso”, contou Rocha, sobre o Balneário. Estela dos Reis Carvalho, amiga de Dolores, também é frequentadora antiga do Carlos Joel Nelli. “Eu espero coisa boa daqui. Nós vamos ter uma sala de ginástica boa com aparelhos, vai cobrir a piscina, a quadra, melhorias para a gente. Vai ficar muito bom”, disse. “Aqui é minha família. Eu amo esse lugar. Amo o Balneário”, completou, “Só deixo de frequentar aqui quando morrer”, alertou, alegremente. As obras do Balneário são de responsabilidade da Construtora L.C. ltda, custarão R$ 12.718.270,60 aos cofres públicos. Até o momento está sendo realizada apenas a demolição necessária para construção do novo andar que passará a existir na unidade. Após este período, as lajes começarão a ser montadas, conforme informações. O primeiro passo, será a implantação do 1º andar. Depois, os empreiteiros passarão para a cobertura da piscina, quadra, e outros serviços que ainda serão realizados.
