O Campeonato Mundial de Goalball IBSA 2018 acontecerá entre os dias 30 de maio e 9 de junho em Malmö, na Suécia. Para obter o melhor resultado possível na competição, a Seleção Brasileira feminina de goalball está no Centro Paralímpico Brasileiro, até sexta-feira (23), para a segunda fase de treinamento do ano. O grupo é composto por oito atletas, das quais seis serão selecionadas para o Mundial.
A preparação será dividida em duas partes. A primeira será a Malmo Intercup, de 29 de março a 1º de abril. “É um torneio que sempre acontece no cenário internacional na Suécia, em que as melhores equipes estão presentes, então é superimportante a participação das meninas”, explicou Dailton Freitas, técnico da Seleção feminina de goalball.
