Tradicional festa carnavalesca que reunia milhares de pessoas nos anos 90 e em boa parte de sua história aconteceu na Av. Faria Lima, no Itaim Bibi, o “Pholia na Faria”, será realizado em 2022 no Ipiranga. Rebatizado de “Pholia no Ipiranga”, o evento tem o apoio da Subprefeitura do bairro e conta com grandiosos blocos carnavalescos. A troca de bairro e de nome ocorreu em virtude da comemoração dos 200 anos da independência do Brasil. Nos últimos anos, o desfile vinha acontecendo no bairro da Luz, centro de São Paulo.O evento é organizado pela ABBC (Associação dos Blocos e Bandas Carnavalescas) entidade responsável pelo evento, e vai reunir blocos e escolas sem o tradicional sistema de disputa de notas, apenas com o objetivo de alegrar o público e suas respectivas comunidades. Os desfiles irão ocorrer na Avenida Aida, na Vila Carioca, nos dias 19 (sábado) e 20 (domingo) de fevereiro de 2022, das 13h às 20h, na semana que antecede os desfiles oficiais do carnaval de São Paulo.
“O nosso evento é tradicional em São Paulo há muito tempo. Passamos por diversos bairros e agora chegou a vez do Ipiranga. É um bairro de fácil acesso as pessoas, no qual tem muitos apaixonados por carnaval. Escolhemos um local próximo a região onde já foram realizados desfiles de escolas de samba antigamente. Estou confiante que teremos uma grande festa em 2002”, destacou Orlando José Dal Secco, o Zeca, presidente da ABBC.
O Ipiranga terá três representantes na festa. As escolas de samba G.R.E.S Quilombo, que retoma suas atividades no dia 20/11 e fica localizada na Rua Democracia, em frente ao CEI Vereador José Gomes de Morais Neto, a Acadêmicos do Parque Bristol, com sede na Rua José Pinto Tavares, e o Bloco XI Primos. A escola de samba Imperador do Ipiranga fará o encerramento da festa.
