O fechamento de um clube destinado à terceira idade trouxe problemas para pessoas que residem na rua Bom Pastor, no trecho entre a Tabor e a Leais Paulistanos. A área pertencente à Prefeitura foi invadida há cerca de cinco meses por usuários de droga e a violência cresceu na região. “Nós levávamos os cachorros pra passear na praça do Monumento e não acontecia nada, mas depois que essa gente chegou aqui temos medo até de sair de casa”, conta uma moradora.
“Eu gostaria de saber por que a Prefeitura fechou o clube de bocha, que não importunava ninguém e não toma providências contra os bares próximos à avenida Dom Pedro I, todos sem documentação”, indaga a moradora. “O clube funcionava há mais de 30 anos, mas de repente, sem explicação nenhuma, foi fechado pela Prefeitura”, ela acrescenta. “Os freqüentadores eram pessoas do bem, mas agora a situação está incontornável”, avalia.
O temor dos moradores se justifica, pois menores infratores se dividem entre a praça do Monumento e as dependências do antigo clube, que fazem divisa com os fundos das casas de quem reside na Bom Pastor. “Eles passam o tempo todo usando drogas e procurando confusão com a vizinhança”, revela uma aposentada, que mora há mais de 60 anos no bairro. Ela diz também que tentou duas vezes falar com a subprefeitura Ipiranga, mas foi informada de que as denúncias têm de ser feitas pessoalmente, não pelo telefone.
“A situação fica ainda pior quando escurece, pois a via que liga a avenida Dom Pedro I à rua Leais Paulistanos, em frente à praça do Monumento fica cheia de gente perigosa”, revela a moradora. “Nós insistimos em saber da Prefeitura, por que o clube foi fechado, há quase dois anos”, ela conclui.
