Seis anos depois de ter sido interditada, pela primeira vez, por causa de afundamento na pista, A Estação Pedro II do Expresso Tiradentes, mais conhecido como Fura Fila, será reaberta neste sábado (14). Os percursos, nos dois sentidos, bairro, cidade e cidade bairro, estavam sendo desviados pela Avenida do Estado para a realização de obras de recuperação do viário junto ao Rio Tamanduateí. A Estação havia sido fechada em fevereiro de 2023, mas os problemas de afundamento da pista no local, começaram em 2018, quando motoristas dos ônibus informaram que a pista estava afundando
A primeira interdição da pista ocorreu no dia 2 de fevereiro de 2018, em razão do afundamento da pista entre a rua Dona Néri e o Terminal D Pedro II. Desde então várias intervenções foram realizadas, mas com o solapamento da mureta de sustentação das pistas começaram a serem notados, o fechamento foi completo. Isso porque a São Paulo Transporte alegou que motoristas e passageiros estavam correndo risco. Agora, com a conclusão dos trabalhos, os passageiros voltam a embarcar e desembarcar no interior da Estação Pedro II, onde o pagamento do transporte é feito nas catracas da estação, por meio do Bilhete Único. O posto de atendimento localizado no interior da estação também voltará a funcionar no sábado, entre 6h e 22h.
