Com o dia ensolarado, a Festa das Nações do Jardim da Saúde, que já havia sido adiada por conta do mal tempo, aconteceu no domingo (8), na Praça Flávio Xavier de Toledo.
“É muito bom porque chama todas as pessoas de todas as nacionalidades e apresenta um pouquinho de cada um. Acho ótimo”, expressou Hatsue, de 65 anos, moradora do bairro e integrante da Federação de Rádio Taisso do Brasil, que apresentou exercícios de alongamento para os presentes logo de manhã.
Durante todo festejo, que contou com apresentações culturais de diferentes nacionalidades e shows durante o dia todo, food trucks serviram comidas e bebidas típicas de diversos países.
Na festa, houve ainda, caminhada e exposição de carros temáticos, além de um passeio ciclístico de 16 km, o qual parou em frente à Praça do Monumento.
“Eu já sabia da festa. Moro perto, então, gostei de participar. Sem contar que uma festa assim, valoriza o bairro”, afirmou Eugênio Polato, de 80 anos, morador do Jardim da Saúde há 50 anos. “Une as pessoas e valoriza o jardim da Saúde principalmente”, disse. “Muito bacana. Muito interessante”, abordou, sobre a festança.
“Toda essa melhoria que foi feita aqui na praça ou para a região, em parte, se deve a essa iniciativa de promover eventos nessa região”, destacou ainda, o idoso, sobre os eventos que tem acontecido no Jardim da Saúde, como a comemoração de seus 80 anos celebrados em abril deste ano na mesma praça.
O objetivo do evento das nações, segundo organizadores, foi celebrar a história das culturas que contribuíram para o desenvolvimento do Jardim da Saúde.
“A Festa das Nações foi no sentido de, mais uma vez, fazer uma reunião entre os amigos. A gente vem aqui, só encontra amigo de infância, passa um dia – como hoje – Deus abençoou com o tempo bom. Vamos nos divertir muito aqui, encontra os amigos, conversar e jogar conversa fora. É para isso que este evento está aqui”, contou Decio Oda, Subprefeito do Ipiranga, presente na festa.
