A proprietária do Colégio e educadora Marly Vera Zabeu Saraceni e o ex-livreiro José Vera, que fazem parte deste pioneirismo, convidaram aproximadamente trinta pioneiros, entre homens e mulheres, que se dispuseram a participar deste momento em que serão coletados importantes relatos, fotos e lembranças que expressam aquilo que viveram e presenciaram. Um raro reencontro entre amigos que há muito tempo não se viam.
Toda esta experiência histórica vivida por estes homens e mulheres e presenteada durante este encontro será organizada pelo historiador, escritor e professor Sidnei Ferreira de Vares e pelo historiador José Miguel Oliveira, ambos colaboradores nesta fascinante empreitada de manter viva a memória do bairro e reverenciar os agentes que contribuíram com a sua permanente transformação.
