Alunos de quatro escolas da rede municipal de ensino da Zona Sul de São Paulo terão aula em uma sala bem diferente neste mês. Eles irão conhecer hortas urbanas da Capital em por meio de um projeto piloto chamado Rolê Agroecológico, que tem como proposta mostrar a importância da agricultura familiar tanto para a economia quanto para o abastecimento de alimentos na cidade.
De acordo com a Prefeitura de São Paulo, a ação conjunta da Secretaria Municipal de Educação e da Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Trabalho vai estimular o ensino de educação alimentar e a sustentabilidade.
Um total de 550 estudantes do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental de 13 escolas da Rede Municipal será levado a 14 pontos de agricultura familiar na cidade de São Paulo e irá aprender mais sobre sustentabilidade a partir do contato direto com os alimentos.
O 6º ano foi escolhido para a primeira etapa da experiência porque o currículo dá ênfase à educação ambiental, mas a proposta é estender para toda a Rede Municipal a partir do próximo ano.
O programa atende as diretrizes dos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) e do Plano de Ação Climática do Município de São Paulo (PlanClima-SP).
