Mulher é sinônimo de garra, determinação e muito trabalho. Quando elas se juntam, o resultado não pode ser diferente, solidariedade e muito amor. Dia 8 de março é comemorado o Dia Internacional da Mulher e para retratar essa data, nada melhor do que a história de um projeto que tem contribuído com a autoestima de mulheres em tratamento de câncer doando mantas.
A iniciativa foi criada por Claudia La Bella que, após passar pelo tratamento de câncer de mama, decidiu que precisava ampliar o trabalho voluntário que já fazia, a confecção de mantas com sobras de lãs. Contando sempre com o apoio de sua mãe, em abril de 2013, Cláudia criou a página na rede social chamada de “Quadradinhos do Bem”. O objetivo era receber os quadradinhos de lã e confeccionar mais mantas.
No início todo material para a produção das mantas era comprado por Cláudia e sua mãe. O projeto começou a chamar a atenção dos internautas, e os quadradinhos de lãs começaram a chegar através de amigas, correio e doações de conhecidos. “Algum tempo depois, as alunas de tricô da minha mãe se interessaram pelo projeto e quiseram participar. O que motivou tudo isso foi ter passado pelo processo de quimioterapia e ver como é difícil. Então, preparamos as mantas inicialmente para as mulheres em quimioterapia. Mas doamos também para crianças em tratamento de câncer e idosos. Além de situações especiais como refugiados e síndrome de down”.
As doações vem de diversos locais de São Paulo e do país. “Hoje também tenho a colaboração do Fundo Social do Estado que anualmente faz uma grande doação de lãs, isso já há 3 anos. Ajuda muito”, afirma Cláudia.
Atualmente o projeto conta com 10 mulheres que são exemplos de bondade e amor ao próximo. “Além das mantas também preparamos gorros e cachecóis. Algumas vezes até crio campanha para alguma arrecadação especial. É muito gratificante ver a alegria no rosto de quem recebe. Quando faço entregas no setor de quimioterapia do Hospital Pérola Baygton, as mulheres até se iluminam de tanta satisfação por receber as mantas. E elas continuam o tratamento levando a manta”, se emociona Cláudia.
No ano passado foram cerca de mil peças entregues, entre mantas, gorros e cachecóis. Em 2019 esse número deve aumentar e muito, afinal, o Quadradinhos do Bem deixou de ser apenas um projeto e agora é uma Associação (Ong).
