Por ocasião das comemorações do jubileu de ouro da Paróquia Imaculada Conceição, na Região Episcopal Ipiranga, através do pároco Boris, mobilizou os paroquianos para que este momento não fosse apenas festivo, mas também que permitisse revigorar a atuação pastoral da Paróquia. Por conta disso, desenvolveu o “Projeto Pastoral do Jubileu de Ouro – 2016/2017”, estruturado em 55 iniciativas com propósitos diversos, desde o recrutamento de novos agentes pastorais até a realização de campanhas sociais e eventos esportivos.
O resultado foi um sucesso e cada paroquiano foi convidado a participar como líder de uma dessas iniciativas ou como um dos voluntários do projeto. Em junho deste ano, 73% das ações pensadas para o projeto haviam sido colocadas em prática de algum modo. No começo do mês, a Comissão Julgadora da Medalha de São Paulo Apóstolo anunciou o nome das pessoas e instituições com a medalha.
A Medalha São Paulo Apóstolo foi instituída em 2015 dentro das comemorações dos 270 anos de criação da Diocese de São Paulo. A entrega da Medalha acontecerá em 30 de agosto, e cada premiado receberá também um diploma.
