As ruas estreitas da comunidade de Heliópolis foi o palco de mais um Cortejo “Vidas Preciosas”, uma caminhada inspirada nas ações no projeto de arte pública e performance urbana. O evento realizado na sexta-feira (24) reuniu cerca de mil crianças de seis a 14 anos
Há 7 anos o cortejo é tradição no bairro e todos os anos atrai novas pessoas. “Estou impressionada com a participação das crianças. Adorei fazer parte dessa campanha pela vida. Ver de perto esse espírito de comunidade que luta para fazer parte da sociedade é gratificante”, afirmou Antonia Garcia, que acompanhou o trajeto da janela de casa.
A passeata faz parte do Espetáculo da Terra que é um projeto social de arte-educação que tem como objetivo trabalhar com crianças e jovens a construção de uma narrativa positiva de si mesmos e de suas vidas, usando o mundo mineral como inspiração e extraindo lições da Natureza. As crianças participam do projeto durante 4 meses e realizam atividades que envolvem arte, ciências, educação ambiental, entre outros saberes. O projeto é uma parceria entre a artista Denise Milan e equipe junto com os educadores e líderes de várias comunidades.
Todos os anos, para o encerramento das atividades do Espetáculo é realizado o Cortejo das Vidas Preciosas. Durante o evento as crianças e os jovens saem pelas ruas encenando as várias etapas da transformação da pedra – de sua origem até se tornar pedra preciosa. Durante a caminhada, os participantes convidam os membros da comunidade a se juntarem ao Cortejo e a compartilharem seus aprendizados com as forças da natureza.
Nas dependências do CEU Heliópolis os alunos apresentaram diversas performances e mostraram que o evento vem atraindo cada vez mais crianças e jovens. “Todos os anos procuramos passar o que realmente sentimos e queremos, lapidar o ser humano. Somos valiosos”, disse Pedro João de 9 anos, morador de Heliópolis.
