“Por meio da literatura originária, manifestada nas contações de histórias passada de geração a geração, essa oficina/contação de histórias traz a importância da escuta aos avós, aos mais velhos, que para os povos indígenas são os guardiões do conhecimento, “os nossos livros vivos, eles nos contam sobre as histórias sagradas, que guardam os segredos de criação do mundo a partir da cosmologia Tabajara”, diz Auritha Tabaiara, poeta e contadora de história.
Essa contação de histórias indígenas conta com dinâmicas orais que envolve a fala e a escuta, assim como brincadeiras corporais, adaptadas ao momento, para envolver os ouvintes no mundo imaginário das histórias oralizadas dos povos que sempre habitaram essas terras e tem muito a nos contar.
Auritha Tabajara é escritora brasileira, poeta e contadora de histórias, conhecida por ser a primeira cordelista indígena do Brasil. Auritha é neta de Francisca Gomes, uma das maiores contadoras de história do povo Tabajara. Ela segue os passos da avó e promove contação de histórias para manter viva a cultura oral de seus ancestrais.
