Estão abertas as inscrições para a tradicional Corrida e Caminhada de Heliópolis, um dos eventos esportivos mais esperados da comunidade. A 18ª edição acontece no dia 9 de novembro e espera receber até 300 corredores, que poderão se inscrever e participar desta, que é uma das maiores provas esportivas comunitárias de São Paulo.
Realizada desde 2005, a Corrida e Caminhada de Heliópolis é um importante marco no fortalecimento da prática esportiva na periferia, incentivando hábitos saudáveis, a ocupação positiva do espaço público e a integração comunitária.
