As aventuras terrenas vividas pelo anjo Rafael (Caio Blat) já podem ser vistas no Globoplay, na novela “Um Anjo Caiu do Céu”. Exibida pela Globo em 2001, a trama, escrita por Antônio Calmon e dirigida por Amora Mautner, Dennis Carvalho e José Luiz Villamarim, teve como protagonistas os personagens João Medeiros, vivido pelo saudosoTarcísio Meira, e o anjo Rafael, interpretado por Caio Blat. “Foi muito emocionante poder interpretar o Rafael. “Um Anjo Caiu do Céu” conta a história do fotógrafo João Medeiros que, após fotografar por acaso um líder neonazista, sofre um atentado que o deixa à beira da morte. Com o envio do seu anjo da guarda à Terra, Medeiros ganha alguns meses de vida para resolver problemas pessoais. Porém, Rafael, um anjo aprendiz e atrapalhado, encarna para ajudar seu protegido e vive a juventude humana como um mero mortal. Sofre, se apaixona, se mete em confusão e aos poucos, perde sua aura divina. Ao final da trama, ambos precisam lembrar do objetivo de suas missões na Terra para seguirem seus caminhos.
Uma grande curiosidade de “Um Anjo Caiu do Céu” é que a Globo nunca a reprisou, nem mesmo no “Vale a Pena Ver de Novo”, ou no Canal Viva, sendo assim, a novela estava guardada no acervo da emissora desde 2001 e só agora pode ser assistida novamente.
A trama foi ao ar de 22 de janeiro a 25 de agosto de 2001, em 185 capítulos. À época, a audiência foi considerada satisfatória. O primeiro capítulo teve média de 39 pontos, com picos de 46. O último capítulo também teve média de 39 pontos, com picos de 44. A novela teve média geral de 33,6 pontos.
