O presidente Jair Bolsonaro anunciou nesta quinta-feira (30) em transmissão ao vivo em uma rede social que o salário mínimo será de R$ 1.212 em 2022. Uma medida provisória confirmando o novo valor deverá ser publicada no “Diário Oficial da União”.Segundo a colunista do g1 Ana Flor, a MP será publicada na edição desta sexta-feira (31) do “DOU”. Ainda segundo a colunista, o valor de R$ 1.212 corresponde a uma correção da inflação pelo INPC e a recomposição de um valor residual referente a 2021, sem espaço para ganho real.
No fim de 2020, Bolsonaro fixou o salário mínimo no valor de R$ 1.100. A partir de 1º de janeiro de 2022, o valor passará a ser de R$ 1.212.
“A partir de 1º de janeiro, o novo valor do salário mínimo [será de] R$ 1.212”, afirmou o presidente durante live transmitida a partir de Santa Catarina, onde Bolsonaro está de férias.
Os R$ 1.212 foram fixados no Orçamento de 2022, aprovado pelo Congresso em 21 de dezembro, com base em uma previsão de 10,18% para o INPC. O anúncio de Bolsonaro, portanto, confirma o valor aprovado pelo Legislativo.
De acordo com informações do Departamento Intersindical de Estatística e Estudos Socioeconômicos (Dieese), o salário mínimo serve de referência para 50 milhões de pessoas no Brasil, das quais 24 milhões de beneficiários do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS).
Um reajuste maior no salário mínimo também faz com que o governo federal gaste mais. Isso porque os benefícios previdenciários não podem ser inferiores ao valor mínimo.
De acordo com cálculos do governo, a cada R$ 1 de aumento do salário mínimo cria-se uma despesa em 2021 de aproximadamente R$ 365 milhões.
