Conscientes sobre os cuidados e a manutenção dos espaços de convívio social, alunos do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental do Colégio Marista Glória, se uniram para lançar a campanha “Lixo no lixo, Glória no Capricho”. A iniciativa partiu da observação dos alunos sobre o ambiente escolar e do desejo de transformação de hábitos inadequados em relação ao descarte de resíduos. O resultado: redução de até 70% no volume de dejetos descartados inadequadamente.
A ideia para criar a campanha surgiu durante os intervalos e no horário das refeições no Colégio, quando os estudantes notaram que muitos colegas não davam a devida importância para o descarte correto de materiais recicláveis, por exemplo.
Foi então que eles resolveram experimentar o mundo da publicidade para tentar convencer as crianças e adolescentes a mudarem de atitude sobre o descarte de lixo. Por meio da criação e desenvolvimento da campanha “Lixo no Lixo, Glória no Capricho”, os alunos prepararam avisos, cartazes, slogans e toda a produção visual que envolve uma campanha publicitária, com veiculação interna no Colégio.
Durante a promoção do assunto, a equipe se mobilizou para que a mensagem chegasse a todo o público, e para isso, se utilizou dos famosos avisos boca a boca, impactando assim todo o ambiente escolar. Ao final da campanha, que durou cerca de dois meses, profissionais da área de higienização do Colégio constataram a redução de até 70% no volume de lixo descartado em locais impróprios.
“O efeito mostra que as mudanças foram significativas, principalmente no envolvimento do grupo de alunos, que se uniram e superaram essa tarefa desafiadora que é a transformação social”, observa a professora Márcia Querino Teixeira dos Santos, responsável pelo acompanhamento da campanha.o trabalho em equipe como principais motivadores da ação.
