Na segunda feira (26), o Movimento da Paz do Jardim São Savério e Parque Bristol, mais uma vez se reuniu para organizar a 9ª Caminhada da Paz pelas ruas do bairro. O evento se tornou uma tradição e cada ano atrai um número maior de participantes. O encontro contou com a presença de liderança da comunidade e serviços da região. quemais uma vez demonstraram força de vontade e muitas ideias para atrair cada vez mais a comunidade para dentro da escola e contar com a participação dos pais dos alunos.
A reunião teve como eixo principal a confecção do manifesto e a escolha de músicas que darão o tom da Caminhada que acontecerá no dia 25 de maio. O principal objetivo da Caminhada é levar a cultura de paz para dentro dos espaços educacionais e comunidades, promovendo o debate sobre a realidade vivenciada nas periferias do Brasil. Além de fomentar encontros de diálogos e reflexões sobre as diferentes realidades, oportunizando o falar, o ouvir e o expressar-se. A iniciativa busca abrir espaços para o exercício da autonomia, criando uma nova forma de construção e de caminhar, além de formar lideranças da comunidade e, com isso, construir para um bairro cada vez melhor.
A próxima reunião de organização da Caminhada será no dia 9 de abril, às 14h, no Sasf que fica na rua Canção do Exílio, 210 – Jd. São Savério.
