O Centro de Educação Infantil (CEI) Kandinsky foi inaugurado e vai atender 190 crianças, de 0 a 3 anos, no distrito do Sacomã. O investimento total para a implantação do CEI Kandinsky foi de R$ 4.753.177,49. A unidade tem 3.982 m² de área total, sendo 1.260 m² construídos.
O CEI conta com 11 salas, incluindo solarium, um parque e uma brinquedoteca, com jogos e brinquedos adequados para todas as faixas etárias atendidas, além de elevador para garantir a acessibilidade. O novo prédio possui também cozinha e refeitório equipados, onde são servidas cinco refeições diárias (café da manhã, lanche da manhã, almoço, lanche da tarde e jantar), em uma jornada de dez horas de atendimento.
“Pela primeira vez, foi elaborada uma estratégia regionalizada, que prioriza áreas vulneráveis. A inauguração do CEI Kandinsky é resultado desse trabalho, que tem como foco quem mais precisa”, afirma o secretário municipal de Educação, Alexandre Schneider.
O corpo docente da unidade é formado por 32 professores, além de mais 12 funcionários no quadro de apoio. A equipe é preparada para atender crianças nas faixas etárias de Berçário 1 e 2, de 0 a 2 anos e Minigrupos 1 e 2, de 2 a 3 anos. O CEI, localizado na Rua Antônio Passos, 72, Jardim Vergueiro, é administrado pela Associação Beneficente Ética e Competência Flor de Lótus, que recebe um repasse mensal da Prefeitura de R$ 165.005,18.
“Não perde nem para escolas particulares de alto padrão. Eu só tenho que agradecer por este nível de educação que a minha filha recebe aqui”, disse Kall Gaspar, pai da aluna Lívia, do Mini Grupo 2.
