O Metrô de São Paulo anunciou que o tatuzão da Linha 2-Verde iniciou as escavações dos túneis em direção a estação Anália Franco, para a expansão do ramal até a Penha, na Zona Leste da cidade.
Apelidado de “Cora Coralina”, a máquina, fabricada na China, retomou as escavações no Poço Coxim, e deve chegar à futura estação Anália Franco em meados do mês de junho.
Nesta fase do trajeto, o tatuzão vai escavar 45 mil m³ de terra e percorrer 411 metros a uma profundidade média de 30 metros, revestindo o túnel com anéis de concreto.
Desde sua montagem no Complexo Rapadura, a toneladora percorreu quase um quilômetro (930 metros) passando pela estação Vila Formosa neste caminho e chegando ao Poço intermediário Coxim, onde recebeu ajustes.
A sua capacidade é de escavar e revestir até 15 metros por dia, por meio de sua roda de corte de 11,66 metros de diâmetro, contando com 150 pessoas atuando diretamente na sua operação em três turnos de oito horas cada um, todos os dias.
A expansão da Linha 2-Verde na sua primeira fase contempla a chegada do metrô na estação Penha, onde terá a integração com as linhas 3-Vermelha e 11-Coral.
Serão mais 8,4 km de comprimento, com oito deles operacionais, saindo da Vila Prudente, passando por localidades como Vila Formosa e Anália Franco, com previsão de ser entregue na sua totalidade em 2027.
A Linha 2-Verde tem 4 estações no Ipiranga, Imigrantes, Alto do Ipiranga, Tamanduateí e Sacoman. Atualmente a Linha 2 Verde vai da Vila Prudente até a Vila Madalena, a a extensão até a Penha, milhares de moradores do Ipiranga serão beneficiados.
