A Fundação Padre Anchieta e o Museu do Ipiranga promovem mais uma edição do Música no Museu com a Brasil Jazz Sinfônica. Desta vez, a apresentação acontece no dia 25 de maio (sábado), às 16h, com ingressos a preços populares: R$ 10 (inteira) e R$ 5 (meia).
A escolha do repertório é do maestro do grupo, João Maurício Galindo. Para esse programa, o regente selecionou composições de Pixinguinha (Carinhoso), Tom Jobim (Luiza), Guinga (Caiu do Céu), Ernesto Nazareth (Odeon), Alfredo Le Pera (Por una Cabeza), Astor Piazzolla (Libertango) e George Gershwin (Nice Work If You Can Get It). A formação para essa apresentação inclui quatro primeiros violinos, três segundos violinos, duas violas, dois violoncelos, um contrabaixo acústico, um contrabaixo elétrico, um piano e uma bateria.
“Nesse próximo concerto teremos uma coisa completamente diferente, uma formação de cordas, acompanhada de baixo, piano e bateria. Desta vez, introduzi algumas peças de dois gêneros que são muito queridos, o jazz norte-americano e o nosso querido tango portenho. Será um mix de pequenas peças de música brasileira, como sempre, de grandes nomes como Ernesto Nazareth, Pixinguinha e Tom Jobim, e algumas peças de autores internacionais, como Gershwin e Piazzolla”, explica Galindo.
