O Festival de Música Infantil Peixe-Boi chega à sua 4ª edição e estreiou sua programação no mês das crianças, no dia 12 de outubro, e segue até final de dezembro, apresentando trabalhos em vídeo de 10 artistas ou grupos, atuantes no universo da música infantil.
Os vídeos dos musicais estão disponíveis gratuitamente no canal do projeto, a partir das 12 horas dos dias programados. Para assistir, basta fazer a inscrição no canal www.youtube/culturainfantil.
Artistas de destaque no cenário nacional, cujos trabalhos buscam o resgate, a preservação e a difusão da cultura popular e regional brasileira, integram a programação do festival. Entre eles: Grupo Girasonhos, Lili Flor & Paulo Pixu, Paulo Bira/Brasileirinhos, Meu Pequeno Coração Caipira, Cia. Cabelo de Maria, Grupo Capucheta/Henrique Menezes, Pé de Vento e Cris Barulins & Giba Pedroza.
Quatro vídeos abriram a programação, na segunda-feira (12), e serão seguidos pela publicação de três novos vídeos por semana, até o final da temporada, totalizando 30 trabalhos no total. São musicais inéditos, atrações de nichos e estilos variados com música para crianças, passando pela cantiga de roda, roda de histórias, teatro de bonecos, mamulengo, literatura popular, folclore e outras manifestações artísticas.
O Festival de Música Infantil Peixe-Boi, contemplado pelo ProAC, com o apoio da Secretaria de Cultura e Economia Criativa do Governo do Estado de São Paulo, previa uma circulação por sete cidades do estado, mas foi formatado em versão online, devido à pandemia do coronavírus.
